Caritas Kotido is the socio-economic and humanitarian services arm of Kotido Catholic Diocese. Established in 1991, we are a faith-based organization dedicated to improving livelihoods, raising literacy levels, and providing access to basic services for the poorest people in Karamoja.
We operate across four districts in North Karamoja: Kotido, Abim, Karenga, and Kaabong. Our head office is in Kotido Municipality, with field offices in the other three districts.
We welcome partnerships with local and international NGOs, UN agencies, and community groups. Please visit our Contact Us page or email us at info@caritaskotido.org to discuss collaboration opportunities.
We implement our programs in partnership with global and local actors, including CAFOD, the Conrad Hilton Foundation, USAID, the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI), and Caritas Uganda.
Our offices are open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, except on official public holidays.
Your generous donation helps us provide food security, clean water, education, and healthcare to over 728,000 vulnerable agro-pastoralists in Karamoja. Together, we can build a self-reliant, just, and peaceful community.
